Although the term virtual reality has historically been used to refer to terms such as virtual environment, three-dimensional simulation, computer and console games, visualization, and digital prototypes, today it is used for systems where virtual environments can be experienced through headsets and interacted with in a virtual sphere that provides a 360-degree view.
